The wide-open corollas of the Hesperantha baurii subsp. baurii flowers serve as ample platforms for the three long white style branches. They are longer and spreading wider than the three also divergent but thicker and creamy yellow anthers. The anthers are from 5 mm to 9 mm long. Small white knobbly stigmas are visible on the style branch tips. Some curious little hooks are present on some anther tips too, maybe a sign of ageing.
The tepals are shallowly boat-shaped from upturned margins and tips. The inner and outer tepals are nearly equal in colour, size and shape.
The perianth tubes are up to 6 mm long, the tepals from 12 mm to 16 mm long and 4 mm to 5 mm wide (Manning, 2009; iNaturalist; https://www.worldfloraonline.org).
