The narrow Helichrysum moeserianum stem-leaves are about oblong in their lower parts, broadening at their rounded tips. They clutch the stem at their stalkless bases. The leaf base continues down the stem for a short distance, eared in marginal fringes, making the position of the node where it attaches debatable.
The leaves alternate or spiral well-spaced up the stem in picture. The leaf midrib is a tiny furrow along the upper surface, right to the tip that sags slightly. The soft woolliness of leaves and stem remind that this is an annual (Manning, 2007; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996).
