The yellow flowers of Hermannia vestita are bell-shaped. They have corolla lobes that are spirally twisted with flaring, rounded tips. The hairy calyx, reaching down nearly halfway around the corolla’s length, has acutely pointed lobes. The flowers are pendulous, growing in racemes on long peduncles. Green styles are visible in some of the flowers in picture, protruding from the corolla centres (Shearing and Van Heerden, 2008).
