Hermannia trifurca flowers lack the twist or spiral in the petals found in some Hermannia species. Bluish veins branch en route to the margins of the broad, pink-purple petals. The hairy sepals are just visible on the outside of the corolla. The flower is about 10 mm in diameter.
The whitish anthers inside the cup have papery, hairy margins protruding from their oblong bodies. The long straight style is just visible in the centre (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010; Manning, 2007; Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; iNaturalist).
