    At the top of the Habenaria mossii flower in the photo the dark green median sepal is flanked by the two narrow, pale green, upper petal lobes. The visible sepal shows main and secondary veining along its surface.

    Several parts of the column in the flower centre are visible in the photo, particularly the anthers and pollinaria at the top and on the flanks, the three-lobed rostellum (triangle and two arms) in the centre and the stigma below.

    Curving out and up are the lower petal lobes, cylindrical and also pale green in colour, above the three lip lobes that curve downwards.
