    The simple, alternate leaves of Malva arborea are long-stalked, about rounded and palmately lobed.

    Veins radiate from the leaf-base into the five to nine lobe-tips. These and visible smaller veins are sunken on the upper, softly hairy surface. The margins are coarsely toothed (Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; Wikipedia; iNaturalist).
