Grielum humifusum leaves and more

The leaf of this Tietiesbaai Grielum specimen that may either be Grielum humifusum or G. grandiflorum, is ovate with attenuating tip and some lobing incisions with rounded lobe or teeth tips. Midrib and ascending lateral veins are recessed on the upper surface and the margins are rolled under. The dark to dull green blades show little signs of hairiness on top. 

Long-petioled, expired flowers display brown and shapeless corollas, intact triangular to pointed sepals in good shape and unexpectedly persistent stamens. All of this is borne close to the sand, as the creeping or sprawling plants of both species are known to do (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; Le Roux, et al, 2005; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; iNaturalist).
