The bisexual disc florets of Corymbium villosum are solitary in each head that lacks ray florets. A floret has five ovate, pointed corolla lobes, longer than the floret tube. The shortly arrow-shaped anthers are linear, together at the base and in picture darker blue-purple than the longer, cylindrical, hairy styles that are split at the top (Manning, 2007; Bean and Johns, 2005; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
