    Some Hebenstretia dura inflorescences lack the orange patches in the throats of the corollas. The finger-like lobes at the flower tops are present, here mainly bent back. The green calyces are two-lobed. The stem in picture is pinkish purple.

    The photo was taken near the Sani Pass (Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist).
