Pseudoselago subglabra is an annual herb that grows to 80 cm. It has long, narrow leaves that are sometimes toothed.

The plants geographical distribution is in the southwest of the Western Cape, endemic to the province. This flat-topped flower cluster at a stem tip was seen in Bainskloof during October.

The habitat is damp, sandy mountain slopes among fynbos. The species is not considered threatened in habitat early in the twenty first century (Manning, 2007; www.redlist.sanbi.org).
