Male and female flowers of the Atriplex lindleyi grow separately on the same plant, the female flowers lower on the branches than the male ones. Insignificantly small flowers grow in clusters (female) or spikes from leaf axils (male). They appear from late winter to early summer.

The fruiting bodies are creamy green, up to 1 cm in diameter and spongy, becoming pale beige as they ripen (Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist; https://keys.lucidcentral.org).
