Amsinckia menziesii leaves

The stalkless leaves of Amsinckia menziesii are lance-shaped to narrowly elliptic, the tips bluntly pointed and the margins entire. The dull green leaves are hairy, the midrib sunken above and a whitish vein running parallel to the margins, near them.

The largest leaves are in a basal rosette, the cauline ones (up the stem) reducing in size. The big ones are about 10 cm long (Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
