Schwantesia herrei fruit capsules

After flowering the small, dry Schwantesia herrei fruit capsules persist for releasing the seeds when ready. A capsule has five locules, the covering membranes reduced to small limbs. 

The seeds are small, shiny and finely textured (Grenier, 2019; Frandsen, 2017; Williamson, 2010; Smith, et al, 1998; iNaturalist).
