The dry capsules of Argyroderma fissum are fairly flat discs, having relinquished the bulk of the cup that held the inferior ovary.

There are narrow valves on top of the many locules; Argyroderma flowers have from 12 to 25 locules. Rigid covering membranes are present upon the seed chambers. There are large closing bodies and membranous valve wings that are narrow and pointed. The stout expanding keels end in awns.

The about spherical to slightly ovoid seeds are small and smooth with brown navels (Frandsen, 2017; Smith, et al, 1998; Herre, 1971; iNaturalist).
