    The silvery grey leaves of Achyranthemum paniculatum are stalkless, spiralling and ascending up the stems. They are narrow and acutely pointed, up to 15 mm long and 5 mm wide.

    Leaves on young stems may be spaced sparsely, while old stems tend to grow small side-shoots that are densely leaved (Euston-Brown and Kruger, 2023; Manning, 2009; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
