Pavetta lanceolata in flowering profusion is an attraction across the species divides involving the United Nations of insects and more. The numerous small, white flowers are pollinated by a variety of insects, including wasps, ants, beetles, bees and butterflies, as well as several bird species. Birds also distribute the seeds (Coates Palgrave, 2002; www.plantzafrica.com).
