Gorteria personata lower leaves

The lower leaves of Gorteria personata tend to have teeth and lobes, the upper ones not. Particularly the bigger leaves develop teeth, very unequal in size, some augmenting into lobes. One leaf in picture seems to have teeth on one side only, may still develop some on the other side later.

The radiating branches are pale and hairy here, extending like wheel spokes on the ground (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; https://florabase.dpaw.wa.gov.au).
