Gasteria pendulifolia

The thick and rigid succulent leaves of Gasteria pendulifolia are dark green and covered in faint whitish spots. In some forms leaves are triangular in shape, tapering with straight edges to narrow, pointed apices. Others have almost parallel edges with rounded tips that end in marked sharp points.

The flowers in photo display the graceful Gasteria perianth curves, hallmark of the genus. The perianths vary in colour from a soft pink to creamy green along the length. There are tiny corolla lobes at the mouth and darker pink pedicels. The longitudinal folds on the tube surfaces may be signs of drying out from withering.
