Gasteria glomerata is a dwarf species of Gasteria that has strap-shaped leaves and orange-red flowers. The plants form clumps and can last for many years.

    G. glomerata grows on shady south-facing cliff faces in the Kouga Mountains of the Eastern Cape, thriving in moderately acid quartzite soil (www.plantzafrica.com).
