    The stem-tip Helichrysum marginatum leaf rosettes may curve out in their pointed to rounded leaf-tips, even slightly downwards in some fully elongated leaves. The range of leaf colours include blue green, grey green and yellow green. The blades are rigid and leathery, remaining neatly in position, also when ageing.

    Also, the spreading and ascending bracts of the flowerheads have a durable order in the positioning of their components. The yellow florets around the perimeters of the discs in picture reveal a little of the tubular floret bases.

    Some plants bear their flowerheads on longer peduncles than in the photo. Dull, brownish buds are short-necked here, still embedded in their rosettes when already parting their bracts (Pooley, et al, 2025; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist).
