    Geissorhiza erosa leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

The often slightly twisted leaves of Geissorhiza erosa grow in a tuft from ground level. They are ensiform (sword-shaped) and between 3 mm and 6 mm wide. The long blades are hairy along the raised veins and margins. The acutely pointed leaf-tips are lower than the inflorescence (Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; https://hortflora.rbg.vic.gov.au; https://www.pacificbulbsociety.org).
