    Author: Ivan Lätti

The outer three tepals of the Geissorhiza erosa flower are slightly bigger here than the inner three, elliptic to obovate in shape. Tepal margins curve in slightly, their lengthwise curvature adding grace to the cup, hard to perceive here.

The perianth tube is up to 3 mm long, the tepals may be 2 cm long. The anthers are usually paler when the pollen is unripe on their cylindrical bodies, the ripe pollen turning smooth surfaces to granular (Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; https://hortflora.rbg.vic.gov.au; https://www.pacificbulbsociety.org).
