The Sparaxis roxburghii flower is two-lipped, the upper three tepals broad in the centre, tapering to both ends. The dorsal one is biggest, erect, blue to mauve and round-tipped. The three-branched style and the three stamens are held close together below this tepal. The upper lateral tepals spread sideways, also narrower to their tips, lighter coloured or white. The lower three tepals are oblong and curving in from the sides, coloured yellow and white.
Bloomtime is from late winter to early spring (Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
