Flowering almost white, the Romulea rosea in picture has the usual yellow corolla cup and a few deep purple vein stripes from inside the cup to the lobe bases. The central three stripes have the most colouring. Numerous veins continue here on the tepal lobes in the form of fine ridges, not coloured differently from adjacent limb parts. The ridges are more distinct on the inner tepals, barring maybe one (Curtis-Scott, et al, 2020; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; iNaturalist; Wikipedia).
