An Aspidoglossum biflorum flower has five small, triangular sepals that are acutely pointed with margins fringed, visible in the gaps between the spreading corolla lobes.

The still to open, ovoid bud, mate of the open flowering picture, is closely behind it to the right. The specific name, biflorum, is a Latin word meaning two-flowered, referring to the spaced pairs in which these flowers appear up the stems. The bud's thread-like sepals are also visible close to the the closed corolla.

The opening corolla starts off cup-shaped, spreading its five lobes gradually. The hairy, elliptic corolla lobes with pointed tips are joined in their lower parts. These lobes are convex on top with tips recurving, coloured brown, purple, greenish or greenish yellow. Corolla lobe dimensions are up to 5 mm long and 2 mm wide.

The corona inside the corolla has five lobes that alternate with those of the corolla. It is up to 5 mm high, white, yellow or purplish in colour. The stamens are united at the base, forming a hollow column from which the corona lobes arise. The anthers have two locules each, and membranous appendages on top that rest on the style head, as well as horny anther wings (Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist; https://www.worldfloraonline.org).
