The flowers of Sparaxis villosa are two-lipped. They are pale yellow on the lower three tepals, creamy white on the upper laterals and the base of the dorsal, blue or violet on the upper part of the dorsal tepal. The lower three tepals are projected forward with upturned lateral margins and white tips. The spreading upper laterals have downward twists near their rounded tips. The erect dorsal has a rounded or notched tip.

The style and stamens are erect together, borne close to the dorsal tepal. The three style branches are only about 2 mm long. They curve and have hairy margins. The specific name, villosa, is a Latin word meaning hairy, referring to these ciliate margins of the style branches (Manning, 2009; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; https://www.worldfloraonline.org).
