Pelargonium quercifolium leaves have their lobed and toothed margins effectively spreading outwards and inclined slightly, away from the branches. The stylishly down-turned leaf margins succeed in hiding much of the toothing on the lobes.
The sunken veins and midribs on the blades aim straight into the lobe tips (Euston-Brown and Kruger, 2023; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist; https://opus.sanbi.org).
