The oval to elliptic petals of the pink Chironia linoides subsp. linoides flower are wrinkly in their middle parts, the mostly parallel wrinkles probably coinciding with vein lines across the limbs. The rounded petal tips are slightly notched on this flower.
The petals are radially symmetrical in arrangement, while the positioning of style and anthers present what one would expect in a two-lipped, laterally symmetrical flower.
Bloomtime is from before midspring to after midsummer (Manning, 2009; Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
