This Roella flower does not conform smoothly to a species name without some questions arising.

Roella incurva leaves curve in, while these curve out. Roella flowers with rounded petal blotches are mostly R. incurva, but some R. ciliata flowers also have such blotches rather than rings continuous across the five petals. R. incurva petal blotches often have white rings around them, these don’t.

    R. ciliata petal lobes are rounded as the ones in picture, the R. incurva ones more pointed, although the tiny tip protrusions occur on both.

Floral pigment and its representation in photos sometimes add to the questions.

Failing another explanation, such as a totally different species that has been missed, a freak or a hybrid, this flower's identity leans closer to R. ciliata (Manning, 2009; Bean and Johns, 2005; iNaturalist; https://pza.sanbi.org/roella).
