Podalyria calyptrata definitely eaten, maybe pollinated

Podalyria calyptrata definitely eaten, maybe pollinated
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Francelle van Zyl

These pink and white Podalyria calyptrata petals have been partly eaten. No harm done yet by the looks of it, especially if some pollination has also happened.

What is notable here are the light brown, acutely pointed sepal lobes in view. The five sepals of all Podalyria flowers are unequal and longer than the corolla tubes. The flowers grow in groups of up to four on peduncles from axils where broad bracts are present (Manning, 2009; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist).
