Rhigozum obovatum fruit capsules

The fruit of Rhigozum obovatum is a flat, narrow, smooth and thin-walled capsule. It splits open when dry, releasing the papery-winged seeds. It can be seen on the shrub from summer onwards (Coates Palgrave, 2002).
