The flower of Trichodiadema setuliferum has an ample whorl of purplish pink, narrow, oblong petals with rounded tips. The flower is small, the petals angled upwards in a shallow bowl-shape.
The cone of white stamens in the centre contains a number of shorter stigmas. The nectar glands are positioned at the base of the cone.
Flowering time is late winter to summer (Smith, et al, 1998).
