On this Disa intermedia flower the purple-pink blotches are larger and more conspicuous than on the other flower picture shown in this Album.
The lateral sepals and lip hang together like washing in the wind, not nearly as neatly arranged as on some other disas. A distinct line separates the green and died off parts of the bracts around the ovaries (www.sntc.org.sz; www.sntc.org.sz).
