The simple, opposite leaves of Microloma namaquense are mainly ascending, narrow to thread-like, leathery and scattered upon the stems.
The upper surfaces are darker green than the lower ones, coarse and faintly hairy with conspicuous sunken midribs. The lower surfaces are covered in short, soft, whitish hairs, and the midribs prominent below. The margins are entire and strongly rolled under. The leaves are from 1 cm to 3,5 cm long (Manning, 2009; Le Roux, et al, 2005; Eliovson, 1990; iNaturalist).
