Struthiola ciliata pink tubes, yellow scales

The long sepal tubes of these Struthiola ciliata flowers are pink and sparsely hairy. The four white lobes at the tips of the sepals are obovate, angled down below the eight yellow petal scales at the tube mouth. Old scales turn brown.

The hair-fringed, lance-shaped leaves adhere to the stems without fail (Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
