The green and brown buds of this hairy Trachyandra plant are densely clustered in the beginnings of the inflorescence seen in the Biedouw Valley. Particularly the scape is densely covered in soft, white hairs.
Elongation of the panicle branches is yet to come, everything now still compactly clustered (Manning, 2007; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
