Syncarpha argyropsis, the white everlasting, is an ornamental shrublet that grows densely into a branched, rounded shape, reaching heights around 50 cm. The leaves are grey and softly felted. Ovate in shape, the leaves are positioned in opposite pairs on the stems.

The species distribution is along the southern coast of the Western Cape from Betty’s Bay to Riversdale. The habitat is coastal scrub on rocky and sandy, sometimes alkaline slopes. The species is not considered to be threatened in its habitat early in the twenty first century (Manning, 2007; Mustart, et al, 1997; www.plantzafrica.com).
