The small, alternate Helichrysum argyrophyllum leaves have flat to channelled stalks that clasp the stems somewhat. The leaves form rosettes at stem-tips. The foliage is dense on the much-branched, thickish stems that become bare on old, lower parts. The stems also root at the nodes, increasing the plant’s spreading.
The smooth, grey blades curve in laterally and down from base to tip. They bear a short-haired, velvety indumentum. Leaf dimensions are about 3 cm long and 1 cm wide (iNaturalist; https://keys.lucidcentral.org).
