Brunsvigia bosmaniae perianths or flowers

The typical funnel-shape of the open Brunsvigia bosmaniae perianths displays most of its curvature increase at the flaring tepal tips. The darker vein lines and pink to white tepal colouring vary much across individual plants. Tepals are up to 55 m long and 10 mm wide. 

The flower-shape is not quite radially symmetrical, slightly zygomorphic but look carefully for spotting this.

Filament colouring perceptibly deepens to the tips where the mature, shrunken anthers are covered in cream pollen. The styles ending in tiny stigmas, minutely three-branched, are taller than the stamens.

Flowers normally last about four to five days (Duncan, et al, 2016; Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
