The mimosa-scented flowers of Glottiphyllum suave are bright yellow, clustered stalkless between the leaves near the centre of the clump. Flower diameter is from 4 cm to 8 cm.

The flowers open on sunny as well as dull days. The plants do not self-pollinate. Flowering happens from late autumn to winter (Frandsen, 2017; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; http://www.llifle.com).
