Braunsia apiculata green and old leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

The pale green Braunsia apiculata leaf-pairs show their beak-like diverging, triangular tips. The bases are fused. Recently dried out stem and leaf parts are brown, while older parts are silvery grey in picture. The leaves retain the vertical stacking of earlier consecutive pairs to some extent (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist; Wikipedia).
