The short, squat leaves of Haworthia cymbiformis form a compact rosette that appears constricted in the leaf-tips. Clustering of multiple stemless rosettes into rounded clumps is common. The soft leaves are thickly succulent, bulging and triangular low down with variable lines, sometimes patches over the translucent areas higher up. Abrupt attenuation at the leaf-tips extends into narrowly elongated, dry bits on which the tiny marginal teeth may continue. Rosette colours in picture shade from pale green to pinkish cream or beige (Smith, et al, 2017; iNaturalist; https://pza.sanbi.org).
