    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

This vigorously flowering Lapeirousia is deemed to be Lapeirousia pyramidalis subsp. pyramidalis. The slightly two-lipped flowers are white but for blue central lines on the lower three shallowly boat-shaped tepals and on the stamens. The flowers all face up and overlap as if eager for the camera or the pollinator (Manning, 20099; iNaturalist).
