    There are clearer basal markings on the three-lobed lips of these Cyphia volubilis flowers than on the two-lobed ones. The markings are sunken in what appears to be the younger flower, less so on the one that already has stronger recurving on its three-lobed side, probably older.

    The oblong leaves behind the flowers have sunken midribs, rolled-under margins and rounded tips that curve up in picture (Curtis-Scott, et al, 2020; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2009; iNaturalist).
