    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

Against the light the sepals of this Eulophia zeyheriana flower show their uneven translucence. Some brown, grey, purple, pink, green and white colouring is displayed in random line and spotty shapes.

There is much blue on the inside surfaces of the two upper (lateral) petals, maybe accentuated in the prevailing light.

The apex of the lip has a diamond-shape here, while the white, fleshy ridges on its crest look feathery, sculpted in a three-dimensional structure (Manning, 2009; Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist; iSpot).
