    The flowers of Ruschia griquensis are small and pink with multiple whorls of petals, some cohering with the central staminal cone where filamentous staminodes surround the stamens. Flowers grow solitary with fleshy bracts on the stem below the flowers. This plant was found flowering in December north of Reivilo in the Northern Cape (Smith, et al, 1998).
