The thickly succulent leaves of Aizoon karooicum are pale grey-green, covered in whitish hairs. The leaf-shape is ovate, the margins entire and tapering to an acute tip, curving or folding in to form a concave upper surface. The leaves are shorter than 1 cm (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iSpot).
