    The flowers of Eriospermum zeyheri grow in a many-flowered raceme between midsummer and early autumn.

    Inflorescences stand up to 50 cm tall; the individual flower pedicels are short, less than 8 mm in length.

    The flowers in picture are no longer open, April being past their blooming season (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; www.pacificbulbsociety.org).
