    Struthiola dodecandra leaves

    Struthiola dodecandra leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

The opposite, stalkless and hairless leaves of Struthiola dodecandra are lanceolate to narrowly elliptic in shape with pointed tips. They ascend, not always as closely to the stem as in the photo. The whitish longitudinal lines or ribbing sometimes seen upon the otherwise smooth leaves are present here (Manning, 2007; iSpot).
