The night-scented flowers of Struthiola dodecandra grow solitary and sessile (stalkless) from leaf axils, forming a spike around the upper stems. Quite a bit of leafy, flowerless stem may sometimes be seen grown above the level of the flower spike.

The flower has a long thin calyx tube, from 8 mm to 16 mm in length; the joined sepals spread at the mouth in four acutely pointed white or pink lobes. There are eight tiny petal scales at the flower mouth. Flowering happens all year round (Manning, 2007; iSpot).
